Common Questions
Pool & Spa Renovation FAQ
How do I know if my pool or spa needs renovating?
If there are structural issues beyond basic repairs, like rough surfaces, or outdated and inefficient equipment, or you simply want the latest in design and efficiency, it may be time to renovate your pool.
What’s the difference between pool repair and pool renovation?
A repair is for a specific problem like a blister in the finish or crack in the tile line. Renovations tend to be larger projects that change the overall appearance, functionality, or condition of your pool or spa.
Do I need permits for a pool renovation?
Generally no but this would depend entirely on the scope of the project. Your PoolPro rep can assist with what, if anything, needs permitting.
What costs more, pool renovation or building a new pool?
Depending on the state of your pool, even a significant renovation can be more affordable than entirely replacing it. You’ll still end up with a better looking, more modern, and more functional pool.
